About the Listing & Scope

Company overview

Relay is a platform for decentralized wireless (DeWi) deployers to build, manage, and scale wireless networks. Today, over 1,500+ large-scale DeWi deployers use Relay platform globally to track 50,000+ Helium devices, locations (where devices are installed), hosts (of the locations), and fleet performance. Deployers can also calculate payouts, and with this project they will be able to process payments to hosts in bulk directly from their workspace.

Core problem

The main pain point of DeWi deployers is processing payouts to their hosts. All Helium deployers have hosts and need to pay hosts on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly basis. However, given the current state of the industry, they have to do it manually by sending Solana transactions through wallet apps.

Goals

There are 3 primary goals of the project:

1. Develop Solana payments capability into Relay platform;

2. Enable platform monetization;

3. Ensure platform processes payouts with 100% success rate, from start to finish without any loss of Helium data and with complete success of Solana transactions;

Scope

The detailed scope with in-depth tickets will be provided via Linear. At the high level, they will include:

1. Paywall that blocks specific set of features (Free plan: up to X number of devices/locations/users per workspace; no payouts calculating & processing; etc.);

2. Ability for admin to subscribe for a plan via Stripe integration;

3. Ability for admin to manage their subscription via Stripe integration;

4. Ability for admin to generate precise Payout Reports (with no loss of earnings data)(partially built, needs finishing);

5. Ability for admin to generate Batch Payments (partially built, needs finishing);

6. Ability for admin to process Batch Payment Segments with 100% success rate (partially built, needs finishing);

7. Ability for admin to handle transaction issues and retry transactions (partially built, needs finishing);

Rewards

1. Project budget is $5,000;

2. This project is milestone-based;

3. Project will be paid out per each successfully completed milestone;

4. Payments will be processed via Deel.com platform;

Judging Criteria

• Relay admins can calculate Helium Payouts fast and without any loss of data (precise earnings retrieval from Helium Oracles, and commissions calculations);

• Relay admins can generate Batch Payments from Payouts calculation (already partially developed, need to finalize);

  • The Payments are grouped in segments based on the token (already partially developed, need to finalize);

  • Each Segment includes all Solana transactions for the given token (already partially developed, need to finalize);

• Relay admins can process every Batch Payment Segment separately, with 100% success rate for all transactions;

Submission Requirements

Ideal developer(s) will have:

• 3+ years of development experience;

• 1+ successful project built in the past;

• Passion for DePIN and crypto;
