Build an Accountability-as-a-Service Mobile Application

Overview

We are offering a bounty for the development of a mobile-based Accountability-as-a-Service application that leverages financial incentives and competition to drive goal completion. This platform will enable users to commit to personal goals, stake money on their success, and compete with others to stay accountable.

Core Functionality

• Goal-Based Financial Pooling:

  • Users join a challenge by contributing a fixed amount (e.g., $300).

  • Each challenge is tied to a specific goal, such as walking 5,000 steps per day for a set period.

• Automated Progress Tracking & Verification:

  • Integration with Google Fit, Apple Health, and Fitbit to track step counts automatically.

  • Transparent and automated verification to ensure fairness.

• Financial Incentive & Reward Distribution:

  • Users who complete their goal get their money back.

  • Those who fail forfeit their stake, and the forfeited funds are distributed among successful participants.

  • The competitive structure ensures that only those who achieve their goals benefit financially.

• Gamification & Community Engagement:

  • Real-time leaderboards, progress tracking, and achievement badges to enhance motivation.

  • Option to participate in private groups with friends or compete in public challenges

Technical Requirements

• Fully functional mobile application that implements the above mechanics.
