Sonic is organising the Mobius Hackathon, the first SVM hackathon on Solana, designed to accelerate SVM innovation by bringing together developers, founders, and creators to build scalable, real-time applications on Sonic. With dedicated tracks spanning Attention Capital Markets, DeFi, AI and Gaming, participants have the opportunity to develop cutting-edge decentralized applications while leveraging Sonic’s high-performance infrastructure.

Take the first step — register now and start building!

Note: It’s recommended that you register for the hackathon, but it’s not mandatory; you can still participate if you don’t register.

Track Description

The Attention Capital Markets track focuses on tokenizing attention and engagement. As digital interactions evolve, this track challenges developers to create new models for user acquisition, engagement, and monetization across platforms such as TikTok, Twitter, Instagram, WhatsApp, and Rednote.

Projects in this track are expected to explore:

  • Incentivized engagement models, such as tokenized rewards for content interaction and sharing.

  • Creator monetization mechanisms, including decentralized ad networks and social mining.

  • Onchain identity and reputation systems that leverage attention as an asset.

Participants are encouraged to build new distribution channels, decentralized marketing tools, or incentive mechanisms that drive viral growth within onchain ecosystems.

Prizes

  • 1st Place – $80,000

  • 2nd Place – $50,000

  • 3rd Place – $20,000

And a Grand Champion Prize of $400,000 for the best overall projects across all tracks.

All prizes will be distributed as follows:

  • 50% in stablecoins

  • 10% in unlocked $SONIC

  • 40% in $SONIC with a 12-month vesting schedule

  4. User Experience: How well does this project utilize Sonic's performance to create a great experience for end users?

  5. Business Plan: Is there a solid business to be built on top of this project? How convincing is the business/monetization model of the project?
