Specifications:

You must apply to the Solana Breakout hackathon

• The project can be ANYTHING on Solana (smart contract or client app)

• The project can be built with ANY technology (JavaScript, Rust, Python, etc.)

• The project must be open source

Judging Criteria:

The following will be considered during evaluation:

• Product functionality

• Innovation

• User experience (UX)

• Code quality (keeping in mind this is your first project)

Prizes
🥇 1500 USDC
🥈 1000 USDC
🥉 500 USDC

*Winners agree to register for the Breakout hackathon and submit their project there as well, with the aim of gaining additional funding.

Timeline:
The competition starts on April 21st, 2025 and ends on May 16st, 2025.
Winners will be announced around May 19th, 2025.

Can I participate solo or with a team?
Both individuals and teams are welcome.

Does the project need to be open source?
We love open source projects! However, if you'd like to keep your project closed source, you must contact Anica and add her as a collaborator on the project.
