This bounty challenges data engineers to create robust, efficient, and accurate queries that can be implemented on the Artemis platform.The winning submission will be implemented on the Artemis platform, providing valuable insights to the MarginFi community and enabling data-driven decision-making across the ecosystem. Your work will directly contribute to increasing transparency and understanding of one of Solana's leading lending protocols.<h2 class="heading-node">Objective</h2>Develop SQL queries to extract and calculate the following MarginFi metrics:<ul class="list-node"><li>Total Value Locked (TVL)</li><li>Borrows (volume and outstanding)</li><li>Deposits (volume and outstanding)</li><li>Protocol Fees</li><li>Revenue</li></ul><h2 class="heading-node">Requirements</h2><h2 class="heading-node">Technical Skills</h2><ul class="list-node"><li>Strong proficiency in SQL</li><li>Ability to optimize queries for performance</li><li>Understanding of blockchain data structures</li><li>Familiarity with DeFi protocols and metrics</li></ul><h3 class="heading-node">Specific Requirements</h3><ul class="list-node"><li>All queries must be developed using Flipside's dataset via Flipside Studio (<a class="link" href="https://flipsidecrypto.xyz/studio" target="">link</a>)</li><li>Queries can use either decoded or raw instructions data (preference for decoded data)</li><li>Code must be open-source and fully reproducible</li><li>Solution must include clear documentation explaining the approach and methodology</li><li>Queries should handle edge cases and potential data inconsistencies</li></ul><h2 class="heading-node">Submission Guidelines</h2><ol class="list-node"><li>Submit a Google Doc with the following:<ul class="list-node"><li>Queries you create on Flipside’s platform</li><li>Screenshots of the query outputs</li><li>A “README” with:<ol class="list-node"><li>Explanation of each metric calculation</li><li>Data sources used</li><li>Any assumptions made</li><li>Instructions for running/testing the queries</li></ol></li><li>Include a brief write-up on any challenges encountered and how they were resolved</li></ul></li><li>Submissions to be sent directly to <a class="link" href="mailto:isaiah@artemisanalytics.xyz">isaiah@artemisanalytics.xyz</a> or on Telegram @isaiahwash</li></ol><h2 class="heading-node">Judging Criteria</h2>Submissions will be evaluated based on:<ol class="list-node"><li>Data Quality - Accuracy and comprehensiveness of the metrics</li><li>Code Quality - Cleanliness, efficiency, and readability of SQL</li><li>Documentation - Clarity and completeness of documentation</li><li>Reproducibility - Ease of implementing the solution</li></ol><h2 class="heading-node">Winner Selection</h2>The bounty will be awarded to the submission with the cleanest, most accurate data.
