ZK Compression is a new primitive built on Solana that enables you to build applications at scale.

Developers and users can opt to compress their on-chain state, reducing state costs by orders of magnitude while preserving the security, performance, and composability of the Solana L1.

Track Description

This ZK Compression track, brought to you by Light Protocol, Helius, and the Solana Foundation, challenges participants to build innovative projects on the Solana that use zero-knowledge compression to achieve new levels of scalability, privacy, and security.

Projects must use compressed tokens or compressed accounts in some capacity to be eligible, in addition to the following requirements.

Rewards

• Best cPOP Interface* - $15,000 USDC + 2 tickets for Solana Accelerate

Eligibility Requirements:

• The Solana Foundation Rules apply.

• Each participant can have a maximum of 1 project submission count towards scoring in this side track.

• *The Solana Foundation is sponsoring a dedicated prize pool for the best cToken Proof-of-Participation (POP) interface:
  The interface should:

  • Let creators mint experience tokens (cTokens for airdrops)

  • Let attendees claim them by scanning a QR code

Judging

The Breakout Hackathon's submission rules apply. Once all submissions are collected, we will distribute a list to the side-track judges for evaluation.

Teams and individuals are evaluated on the following criteria:

• Design

• Extensibility

After the judges complete individual evaluations, they will discuss and choose the winners based on the project’s weighted scores.
