We are seeking a Partnership and Business Development Associate with a minimum of 1 year of experience in the cryptocurrency industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in securing partnerships, developing business strategies, and driving revenue growth. This role requires a proactive individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about the future of finance.
Partnership Development: Identify, negotiate, and secure strategic partnerships with key players in the crypto ecosystem, including trading communities, affiliate networks, KOLs, influencers, crypto wallets, and trading-related dApps.
Rainmaker: Managing inbound leads as the first point-of-contact and following-up to close partnership and affiliates deals
Outbound prospecting: Actively sourcing and identifying promising opportunities through online and IRL channels
Channel Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and partners to strengthen our collaboration.
Networking: Represent the company at regional industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote our brand and establish valuable connections.
Team player: Work closely with the marketing and product teams to align business development efforts with overall company goals and product offerings.
Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and market insights to senior management
What will you bring
At least two years of experience in business development or similar GTM role in the crypto industry (preferably early stage projects)
Degen DNA: crypto native with deep knowledge of centralized and decentralized crypto trading (spot, leverage and margin trading) platforms, Defi and memecoins
Trustworthy partner: you are the trusted partner of our clients with the ability to identify collaboration opportunities and drive a deeper relationship
Action and results-driven: you are biased toward action while respecting team-oriented priorities without compromising the company’s integrity
Excellent communicator: both written and verbally, you are familiar with web3 communication styles (e.g. using TG, crypto jargon, etc.)
Strong networker: Love networking and knows the way to connect with the right people in the industry
Autonomous and self-directed: Ability to work independently to pursue opportunities with minimal supervision
Time management and discipline: Excellent prioritization skills to identify what tasks and opportunities to focus on
Travel is required on a need-to-basis every quarter
Language: English plus at least another Asian language
