We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Gaming & API Developer to join our dynamic team focused on expanding our blockchain technology capabilities. The primary role of this position is to develop and integrate external APIs that enhance our blockchain links use cases, thereby improving functionality, scalability, and user interaction with our blockchain platforms. This role requires a deep understanding of blockchain technologies, API development, and a passion for solving complex problems in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• API Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust APIs that integrate with external blockchain services and platforms. Ensure these APIs are scalable, secure, and performant.

• Blockchain Integration: Develop use cases that leverage blockchain technologies for enhanced security, transparency, and efficiency in data management and transactions.

• External API Utilization: Identify, evaluate, and integrate third-party APIs that can enhance our blockchain solutions, focusing on areas like smart contracts, decentralized finance (DeFi), token management, and more.

• Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation for developed APIs, including usage guides, endpoints, parameters, and security protocols.

• Collaboration: Work closely with blockchain developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to align API development with business goals and user needs.

• Security: Implement and maintain high standards of security in all API interactions, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.

• Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize API performance, ensuring minimal latency and maximum throughput.

• Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest trends in blockchain technology and API development, proposing and implementing innovative solutions to improve our offerings.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Advanced degrees or equivalent experience preferred.

• Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in API development, with a strong portfolio showcasing work in blockchain or related technologies.

  • Proven experience with RESTful services, JSON, and other API standards.

  • Familiarity with blockchain platforms like Ethereum, Hyperledger, or similar.

• Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript (Node.js), Go, or Java.

  • Experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js).

  • Knowledge of database technologies, both traditional (SQL) and NoSQL.

  • Understanding of cryptographic principles and their application in blockchain.
