About the Bounty

Meteora aims to become the liquidity backbone of Solana by enabling stablecoin liquidity, lending protocol capital and deep capital efficient AMM pools.

Yield optimisation for LPs (liquidity providers) is one of the pillars of a sound DeFi ecosystem. Until recently, LPs had to manually keep track of yield curves and actively perform risk management, which is not possible for the average user to do. This is where Meteora's Dynamic Vaults come in.

Meteora's Dynamic Vaults resolve this by automatically rebalancing the capital invested by LPs across various platforms. This mechanism includes an end-to-end risk management framework of optimising yield, mitigating lending protocols' risks, and maintaining full principal liquidity.

Meteora is sponsoring a bounty for researchers and writers to deep dive into Dynamic Vaults, and how these vaults can help power DeFi liquidity on Solana. Here's a suggestive list of things to include in your deep dive:

• Intro to Dynamic Vaults, including an 'Explain like I'm 5' version of the explanation (bonus points for including an infographic)

• Challenges faced by LPs and Protocols, and how Dynamic Vaults are able to solve them

• Dynamic Vaults as the Yield Layer for Solana:

  • How Dynamic Vaults are able to optimise yield for idle but allocated capital

  • Its composability across different protocols/dapps

  • How Dynamic Pools automatically allocate capital to Vaults in the yield layer to increase capital efficiency

  • How Dynamic Vaults are lending aggregators that automatically allocate capital across various borrow-lend protocols on Solana

• Off-chain keeper/rebalancer and its ability to derisk investments by monitoring risk parameters such as mainly pool utilization, and withdrawing automatically when thresholds are being reached

Evaluation Criteria

Depth

• Did you explore the background of the project?

• Is your essay the one-stop-resource for people to get up to speed with Dynamic Vaults?

• Did you learn everything there is to know about Dynamic Vaults?

• Did you take screenshots, provide a step-by-step guide to onboarding, and clearly articulate the value of Dynamic Vaults?

• Did you explain the relative pros/cons of Dynamic Vaults vs providing Liquidity to DeFI protocols directly?

Writing Style

• Did you write a compelling introduction and a satisfying conclusion?

• Is your writing easy and fun to read?

• Did you avoid overly complex jargon?

• Did you explain concepts in a way a person new to crypto could understand?

   

Submission Requirements

• Did you write your essay in English?

• Is your submission at least 1,000 words? Note that typical bounty winners are ~2,000 words.

• Did you include links to your sources under the title “References”? If you have used external sources and no references are included, your bounty could be rejected on the grounds of plagiarism.

• Kindly test your submission for plagiarism. If the submission contains more than 15% plagiarised content, your submission will be rejected. Regular offenders can also be disqualified from participating in the bounty program going forward.
