<h2 class="heading-node">About the Hackathon</h2>There's growing interest in building on Solana, but many teams tend to focus on similar or mainstream ideas. This limits true bottom-up innovation. To tackle this, Zee Prime and Superteam are launching a Hackathon with those two phases — phase one to source ideas, and phase two to build them into products.<h2 class="heading-node">Scope of this Bounty: Phase 1 (Ideas)</h2>This bounty is to surface fresh, unique, and fundable and buildable Web3 ideas.&nbsp;<ul class="list-node"><li>Submit structured project ideas using this <a class="link" href="https://docs.google.com/document/d/10Knru7KIPakG6s42aRYlPBQ_6goDJLWgW7vWhy5-UCk/edit?tab=t.0" target="">template</a> (you need to use this template to be eligible).<ul class="list-node"><li>You can add as many ideas as you’d like.</li></ul></li><li>Ideas should be clearly defined and technically feasible.</li><li>Avoid using generic buzzwords—clear articulation is key (full list of banned buzzwords <a class="link" href="https://docs.google.com/document/d/1MiaIOJMnJtA0ai-6IT4V8ew5dHE-dmVDPzSOnH5Dzbc/edit?tab=t.0">here</a>)</li><li>Shortlisted ideas will be made available for developers to build during the hackathon.</li></ul>Key principles:<ul class="list-node"><li>Ban buzzwords – if your idea relies on vague terms or hype, you'll be eliminated. If you can't explain it clearly without jargon, it's not a strong idea.</li><li>Fund novel ideas – reward creativity and originality.</li><li>Build what wins – the best ideas will move into the next phase, where developers can bring them to life in the hackathon.</li></ul><h2 class="heading-node">Submission Requirements</h2><ul class="list-node"><li>Use the provided <a class="link" href="https://docs.google.com/document/d/10Knru7KIPakG6s42aRYlPBQ_6goDJLWgW7vWhy5-UCk/edit?tab=t.0" target="">template</a> and submit the link to your Google doc.&nbsp;</li><li>Sharing settings of your Google doc are set to “Anyone with link” can view.&nbsp;</li><li>Avoid buzzwords—using them can result in disqualification (full list of banned buzzwords <a class="link" href="https://docs.google.com/document/d/1MiaIOJMnJtA0ai-6IT4V8ew5dHE-dmVDPzSOnH5Dzbc/edit?tab=t.0">here</a>)</li></ul><h2 class="heading-node">Rewards</h2>The entire hackathon’s (both phase 1 &amp; 2) rewards are as follows:&nbsp;<ul class="list-node"><li>1st place: 25,000 USDC&nbsp;</li><li>2nd place: 15,000 USDC</li><li>3rd place: 10,000 USDC</li></ul>If a project based on your idea wins in the hackathon, the prize will be split 20:80 between the idea originator and the builder. Therefore, the maximum reward for this Phase 1 is 10,000 USDC.Note: Ideas are eligible to win only if the idea gets built and wins in the hackathon phase 2. In case of any ambiguity, the decision of the judges and organisers of this hackathon will remain final.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<h2 class="heading-node">Judging &amp; Selection</h2><ul class="list-node"><li>A committee of judges will review all submissions and select the shortlisted ideas.</li><li>These ideas will be made public for developers to choose from in the hackathon phase.</li><li>Final decision on winners rests with the organizing team.</li></ul>
