Track Overview

Token extensions, a revolutionary new technology on Solana, enable a new generation of digital assets and stablecoins by imbuing them with rich, programmable features, ranging from confidential transfers to token-gated metadata. Assets minted using this technology can bring to life the promise of true programmable money.

What we're looking for:

Write an essay about how token extensions work, what capabilities they unlock, and why this may be a true leap-frogging event for web3 over traditional financial assets.
