Xandeum is the storage layer for Solana, enabling dApps to thrive and spark the next Cambrian explosion in Web3 and blockchain technology. We provide a solution that is smart contract native, scalable to exabytes, and uses random access file-like systems. To put it simply, Xandeum adds the "hard drive" to Solana's world computer, making the storage of massive amounts of data affordable, seamless, and decentralized.

Mission

Your mission is to brainstorm and tweet about innovative dApp ideas that can be built using the Xandeum storage layer on Solana.

Scope Detail

We are looking for participants to use their creativity and knowledge to explore the limitless possibilities the Xandeum storage layer can bring to Web3 and the Solana ecosystem. Your ideas should showcase the potential of large-scale, decentralized storage.

Consider concepts like:

• The next decentralized YouTube or Spotify.

• A decentralized, censorship-resistant Wikipedia.

• Web3 native versions of services like Uber or Airbnb.

• Entirely new application categories that are only now practical with Xandeum's storage capabilities.

Submission Requirements

• Format: All submissions must be made as a tweet (or tweet thread) on X (formerly Twitter).

• Hashtag: You must include the hashtag #OnlyPossibleOnXandeum in your tweet to be eligible.

• Supplemental Content: While not required, you are strongly encouraged to include additional materials to flesh out your idea. This can include:

  • UI/UX mockups or renders.

  • Flow charts or logistics plans.

  • Simple business plans or pitch decks.

  • Any supplemental content can be added in the thread of your original tweet.

Judging Criteria

Submissions will be judged based on the following criteria:

• Creativity & Originality: How unique and innovative is the dApp concept?

• Feasibility: How practical is the idea within the context of the Solana and Xandeum ecosystem?

• Clarity & Detail: How well is the idea explained and fleshed out?

• Impact: Submissions that include supplemental materials (mockups, plans, etc.) will be heavily considered and will play an important role in the final judging.

Reward Structure

A total of 500 USDC will be distributed among the top 10 submissions.

• 1st Place: 250 USDC

• 2nd Place: 100 USDC

• 3rd Place: 50 USDC

• 4th Place: 30 USDC

• 5th Place: 15 USDC

• 6th Place: 10 USDC

• 7th - 10th Place: 5 USDC each
