Write a twitter thread on how you got into NFTs and your web3 journey since then.

• For the month of September, we want to focus on raising awareness for $ME and our X account @MEFndn by sharing how owning digital assets, starting with NFTs, is important and can impact people's lives

• We are looking for the best storytellers to share how they got into NFTs and how NFTs were a critical gateway for them into the world of web3. These should be stories about how owning or selling an NFT/NFTs made a real difference in their lives for the better

• NFTs are the most emotional asset class in crypto. NFTs become people's identities, collections can feel like cults, and NFTs can unlock access to people, conversations, and places that would be otherwise unattainable.

• We welcome people to share  really personal stories and use text and/or rich media to tell their stories

• We welcome in-language content in any language

About $ME and ME Foundation

• About $ME:

  • The philosophy behind $ME is that digital ownership matters. Limitless dApp experiences spanning chains and digital asset types on both desktop and mobile will help more people own digital assets

  • The $ME token is an upcoming token powering the #1 cross chain dApps ecosystem for digital assets. This token will govern the strongest suite of open source cross chain trading protocols that enable anyone to trade NFTs or fungible tokens on all major chains at any time

  • As a community-owned token, the $ME holders will be able to drive adoption and development of these protocols. $ME will be adopted by Magic Eden and may be adopted by other third party dApps over time

Submission Requirements

• Requirements for your thread to be considered:

  • Include hashtag #NFTsandME

  • In your thread, tag the @MEFndn account

• We strictly prohibit any content framing $ME as a good investment opportunity or any commentary on potential price action for $ME. You are welcome to mention $ME only if the token is framed as a community-owned token that serves to help people participate in digital ownership

• Nice to haves:

  • Mention on which platform you bought your NFT (great if it's an $ME partner) and when you bought it

  • Share how a certain NFT and/or the NFT community helped make a positive change in your life

Rewards

• The total rewards bounty is $5K USDC, divided as follows

  • 1st place: $1,500 Grand Prize

  • 2nd to 5th place: $500 each (total $2,000 in prizes)

  • 6th to 10th place: $300 each (total $1,500 in prizes)

Judging Criteria

• Strong organic engagement - We want to reward posts that have the greatest engagement. All botted entries will be disqualified.

• High- quality content - To further protect against botted entries, we will also evaluate the quality of the content (both written + visual)

• Geographic diversity - We want to reward the best entries around the world and will look to reward the best entries across continents. This means you can write posts in your local language and our team will translate the posts.
