ONDC is a network that enables location-aware, local digital commerce stores across industries to be discovered and engaged by any network-enabled applications. It is neither a super aggregator app nor a hosting platform.
All existing digital commerce apps and platforms can voluntarily choose to adopt and be a part of the ONDC network. In addition, the responsibility for onboarding of sellers and buyers and the management of the end-to-end order lifecycle will also continue to reside with the network-enabled applications.
Superteam India and ONDC are hosting a prize track in the Solana global hackathon to help find and support founders who can build on the ONDC network using Solana. The goal of this deep dive is to help potential participants learn more about the state of the ONDC network.
Did you provide an adequate introduction to the ONDC network?
Did you highlight the different types of network participants and their roles?
Did you cover progress across key sectors like e-commerce, food, transportation, agriculture, etc?
Did you share metrics about the state of the ONDC network?
Did you highlight the key startups and companies who are building on the network?
Did you include screenshots and information about ONDC apps that people can use?
Did you talk about how a public blockchain can improve order volume on the ONDC network?
Did you share specific ideas that hackathon participants can build over and above those listed with the prize track?
Is your essay the one-stop-resource for Renaissance participants to get up to speed with the state of ONDC?
Did you write a compelling introduction and a satisfying conclusion?
Is your writing easy and fun to read?
Did you avoid overly complex jargon?
Did you explain concepts in a way a person new to crypto could understand?
Did you write your essay in English?
Is your submission at least 1,000 words? Note that typical bounty winners are ~2,000 words.
Did you include links to your sources under the title “References”? If you have used external sources and no references are included, your bounty could be rejected on grounds of plagiarism.
Participation in this bounty is entirely voluntary. Bounties are a way to learn and dabble in opportunities to build in web3. These are neither full time jobs nor project based engagement. Please be advised that the sponsors will not have time for individualized feedback due to the number of entries we receive.
