About the Bounty

Proto is building the on-chain foundation for maps. Our community has been contributing information about millions of places, and our localcode infrastructure now makes this data composable.

We believe that Proto will lead to the emergence of new markets for map-data, maps, and related products and services.

Localcode is our new tool that lets you convert your addresses into personalized domains. Localcode lets you manage and share your address in an easy and secure manner while letting developers build IRL on-chain products.

Proto is sponsoring a Creator Competition on Superteam Earn, which contains three bounties;

A Meme Contest, A Twitter Thread bounty and A Deep Dive

Each bounty is focused on writing and meme enthusiasts and has its own rewards.

In addition to the individual rewards, the best submission will win 10,000 points bonus on proto.

Anyone who submits to this bounty will automatically qualify for this prize.

Deep Dive into New Markets for Map-data

We're looking for talented writers and researchers to deep-dive into the opportunities Proto will create by building the foundational layer for on-chain map-data.

In your blog, please:

• Focus on a specific region or industry.

• Identify a problem in that region or industry.

• Describe the problem both quantitatively and qualitatively.

• Explain how Proto and Localcode can address and solve this problem.

• Provide convincing reasoning for why this problem needs a solution and why Proto is uniquely positioned to enable it.

• Bonus points for summarizing and sharing your blog in a Twitter Thread

Submission Requirements:

• Post your blog on Medium, Substack or Twitter Articles (preferred)

• Creativity: Is the analysis innovative and does it provide new insights into how Proto and Localcode can solve the problem?

• Writing Quality: Is the content clear, concise, and engaging, suitable for readers of all technical levels?

• Evidence: Does the blog use both quantitative data and qualitative analysis to support the problem and solution?

• Argument Strength: Does it convincingly explain why the problem needs addressing and why Proto is ideal for it?

• Accessibility: Is the content beginner-friendly and does it simplify complex concepts?
