About the Fellowship
The Arcium Fellowship is a 4-week immersive experience designed to take you from zero to <encrypted> and build next-generation privacy-preserving applications using cutting-edge multiparty computation (MPC) technology.
We’re selecting 20 talented builders to join the fellowship through a curated application process on Superteam Earn. Each fellow will receive an equal portion of the 50K fellowship fund ($2,500/fellow), with an additional $15,000 prize pool awarded to the top applications developed during the program. Outstanding projects may also qualify for follow-up token grants and extended support.
Areas of Focus (Use Cases)
Arcium introduces an entirely new design space for building onchain applications. For the first time, Solana developers have access to performant and trustless encrypted computation, opening possibilities for use cases that were never possible before and/or significantly enhancing existing applications.
We have curated a list of use cases for this fellowship. Although we urge applicants to think outside of the box and bring their own ideas, we highly recommend applying with a use case from one of the categories or applications below. These applications and use cases are based on demand signals, market research, and conversations with top teams and thought leaders, making them the best opportunity for you to build for the long term.

How It Works
- Apply via Superteam Earn
Applications are open on Superteam Earn until July 14, 2025
- Selection & Onboarding
Once the application window has closed, we will review and accept 20 fellows into the program.
- Start of fellowship
The fellowship will run from July 24 - August 21 2025. Fellows will participate in a structured curriculum including:
- Opening day and welcome
- Weekly mentor sessions, office hours, and check ins
- Hands-on workshops and AMAs
- Live coding examples & walkthroughs
- Direct access to Arcium exclusive community channels for initial feedback
- Pitch week - Demo & Prizes (Week of August 25th)
At the end of the program, fellows will submit their encrypted apps developed during the fellowship for a chance to win a part of the $15,000 prize pool.
Application Guidelines
- Eligibility: Open to individual builders or small teams (max 2 people).
- If you’re applying as part of the team, make sure only one team member applies.
- Proof of work: Applicants are required to show some previous work and submit an active GitHub to be eligible for selection
- Commitment: Minimum of 12 hours per week including workshops, coding, and mentorship.
- Grant Disbursement Each fellow will receive a $2,500 grant, paid in USDC in two equal installments:
- First installment* ($1,250): Paid once a proof of concept is submitted and approved during the first half of the fellowship. This could be a prototype, architecture outline, or functional component demonstrating clear technical direction.
- Second installment* ($1,250): Paid at the end of the program upon submission of the final app prototype and a demo pitch.
- IMPORTANT: If one or neither of deliverables are delivered within the specified timeframe, we reserve the right to withhold installments.
- Deliverables: Submit a working prototype and short demo pitch to be eligible for the prize pool.
- Code of Conduct: Builders are expected to engage respectfully and uphold the Arciums values and mission, where everything becomes <encrypted>.
FAQs
- Who should apply?
- Anyone excited about building the first wave of encrypted applications on Solana and want an opportunity to scale their idea should apply.
- Do I need experience with cryptography or MPC?
- No prior cryptography experience is required. Proficiency in Rust and Solana tooling is needed.
- Can I apply as a team?
- Yes. We accept applications from solo builders or teams of two. If accepted, the grant will be split equally.
- What do I need to ship to qualify for the prize pool?
- You’ll need to submit a working demo and short pitch at the end of the program. We’re looking for creativity, execution, and alignment with encrypted use cases.
- Will there be follow-on opportunities after the Fellowship?
- Yes. Our goal is to see the application launch with us at mainnet!
- How is this different from a hackathon?
- The Fellowship is longer, deeper, and more personal. You'll build real applications over four weeks — not just weekend demos — with direct support from the Arcium team and mentors.
Learn more about Arcium
Arcium is the encrypted supercomputer, fully decentralized and capable of processing any data while keeping it completely private. Now, public blockchains like Solana can access encrypted computing, enabling programs to define specific functions to be executed in a fully encrypted way. This redefines blockchain capability, providing a new fabric for onchain applications to process sensitive data while opening the door for privacy-sensitive institutions and offchain use cases to onboard into Web3.
